The story was so sweet and funny

This movie was a pure, fun, heartfelt delight, and I still smile at it. It was such a beautiful love story and Christmas movie. I needed this movie in my life right now — a sweet holiday escape.

It spoke to me as a rom-com lover, but also to the sports fan in me who loves the thrill of cheering on my teams – both my own team and my newly recruited team. Go Bosses! I also really enjoyed Derrick’s story, because he was lonely and helpless and maybe a little lacking in a full and tradition-filled family life, and this warm, welcoming, colorful family really drew him in.

And there was such believable chemistry between these two characters

Hunter King and Tyler Hynes’ performances were flawless, genuine, and funny, and we felt such energy and connection from both of them as they brought their characters to life. This film was also so beautifully enriched by the supporting cast that really brought depth and color to this beautiful story. The more I think about it, the more I want to watch it over and over again and feel the happiness it brings.
