Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first portrayed him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again.

I’ve read a few of the Alex Cross books and found them to be too terrible for my taste, although I thought they were well-written with good stories and characters

In the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which was a box office bomb and led Lionsgate to scrap its previously planned sequel, Double Cross.

But the picture is so dark

I somehow found the show more enjoyable with equally good writing and characters.

It’s like the people in charge of image quality are having lunch

I have to turn off all the lights in the room and turn the TV on bright (I have an LG OLED).

If they fix that, it would be great

The cinematography is great in one respect, but in terms of the vividness of the images it’s so far removed from all the other shows that it just throws me off.
