I know to make a film takes a lot of efforts and to write a review is a matter of a couple of minutes. Anyway, I wanted to write my thoughts. I was looking forward to seeing this film, I liked another Sean Baker's film "Project Florida".

And I have seen a few others

"Anora" has a nice atmosphere, actors are doing their job well but I found humour repetitive as well as some scenes which I'd personally cut. The film is too long for this story. Also, the Russians seemed caricature to me, especially the evil mother.The first part is not bad but the second starting with the Armenians invading "the mansion" was funny at first but then turned boring to me.

It seems to me that the script could have been written/edited better

The last scenes with Yura Borisov added depth to the characters and I started feeling at least something towards them.In general, it's not a bad film but not something I would love to rewatch.
