An author returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to find the townspeople under attack by a bloodthirsty vampire. Author Gary Dauberman told Den of Geek in June 2019 that his goal with the new version of Salem’s Lot was to make vampires scary again. He wants to move away from the more glamorous, romanticized undead that have permeated pop culture over the past quarter century, from Interview with the Vampire to Twilight to The Vampire Diaries.

He could be seen becoming Barlow’s servant
Too many fast-paced scenes to get to the next one. There could have been more backstory with the janitor who was a waste of time as opposed to the original which was much better and much scarier. Backstory of Barlow, the master himself, how he became what he is.
I’m not saying it’s better than the original, but it’s a very worthy remake
Offers something different or adds something that the original or remake didn’t have that sets it apart. I still liked it, but it’s something people who want to remake should think about. The final season of What We Do in the Shadows is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
